Welcome to Beaverton Beavers Youth Lacrosse
Beaverton Beavers Youth Lacrosse (BBYL) is a volunteer based, non-profit organization. BBYL provides all youth, grades 1 through 8, living within the Beaverton High School boundary, an opportunity to participate in a competitive lacrosse program emphasizing the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship,and the spirit of competition.
BBYL is a member club of the Tualatin Valley Youth Lacrosse League (TVYLL). TVYLL is the youth lacrosse affiliate of the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD) and coordinates the use and scheduling of THPRD fields by Beaverton Beavers Youth Lacrosse. Spring League 2012
Registration for BBYL's Spring 2012 Lacrosse Season is now opent through Friday, February 18, 2012. A late registration fee will be charged beginning February 4th....$10 for the 1/2 grade program and $15 for the 3-8 grade programs. Teams will be formed as soon as possible after registration closes, and children will be notified about their team assignments by their coaches. Spring lacrosse practice will begin the week of March 5th and the lacrosse season will end with the "End of Season Tournament" on Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Lacrosse practices will be held two evenings per week for approximately 1 1/2 hours each on THPRD fields. Games are held on Saturdays with the chance of an occasional mid-week game.
Volunteers Needed
BBYL is always looking for new volunteers who are willing to donate their time on and off the lacrosse field. Please consider stepping up as a coach or assistant coach. It is a great way to experience lacrosse with your children and learn the game. No experience is necessary.....we will gladly train you! We also are currently in need of a webmaster to maintain our website and would welcome some volunteers to fill some board positions with BBYL.
