Registration

Registration is now CLOSED  for the Beaverton Youth Lacrosse (BBYL) 2023 Season

 

Registration is open for:

-co-ed clinics for grades K-2

-boys’ teams and girls’ teams in grade divisions: 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. 

 

Costs:

K-2: $50/participant

3-8: $195/participant

 

Participants are required to have a USLacrosse membership ($30) that is valid through at least June 5.  Verify the status of membership through the USLacrosse website (www.uslacrosse.org) or when you register, the process will check for you. You will be prompted to exit the registration and visit USLacrosse to renew the membership if it is not current.   

 

Early registration will help us greatly to establish our roster numbers and form teams.  We have set up a partnership with TVLax so that all players who are registered will play on a team. 

 

We anticipate the youth season to begin in mid-March and run through end May for grades 3-8.  K-2 will run April through mid May.

We are also looking for more volunteers to help us with the coordination and coaching of teams in our club.  There are many ways to help.  If you have any interest in growing youth lacrosse in our community, please reach out.

Grade K-2 Coed Spring 2023

Season runs April through mid May 2023.

  • Before registering here you must register with uslacrosse.  It has a $30 fee which provides insurance and other benefits.  You must have a valid uslacrosse membership number.  Go to:  https://www.uslacrosse.org/
  • Once a week Saturday morning session.
  • Sessions are run in a combined instruction/scrimmage format by experienced coaches.
  • Focus is on teaching basic lacrosse skills while having lots of fun.

Location and times are TBD.

Open to: Boys & Girls

In Grades: K to 2 for 2022-23 School year

Grade 3-4 Girls Spring 2023

The runs mid-March through end May 2023.

Teams will be formed based on player school grade, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8.  If we do not have enough players in a particular age group, they will play with another TV Lax team.

Two practices each week on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
Games will be on Saturdays.

Practice and games location and times are TBD.

Practices will cover basic skills up through game strategy and scrimmages. Games scheduling will stress play against similarly skilled teams.
